the weather finally cleared up today so we could shoot this downtown session i'd been looking forward to! these handsome boys belong to a great friend of mine, and we had a lot of fun on our shoot today! thanks guys!

I was super excited to photograph my dear friend Courtney's kiddos today! I was looking forward to catching up (between her multiple jobs and 4 kids and my job, business, and 3 kids, it doesn't happen often!) and spending some time with her and her little ones. It was a super quick shoot and we were pretty distracted by her crazy beautiful kids, so the catching up didn't happen, but that's just an excuse to get together one morning while the kids are in school. :) Thanks for a fun afternoon, Courtney!

It was obvious to me immediately how much love the C family all had for each other! I was asked to come photograph their family Christmas party, so that they'd have that rare opportunity to have family photos made to include all four generations. It was great meeting everyone! My job is SO easy on days like today! I had the opportunity to photograph these three beautiful sisters this afternoon... I enjoyed meeting them and getting to know them! It was a windy and cold day, but the girls did a fantastic job!

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! I enjoyed spending time with family, yummy food, and of course, Black Friday shopping! I still go out in the middle of the night for my shopping on Black Friday, but I keep saying that I'm going to start shopping online since so much of it is available on the websites now. But there's something about the adrenaline pumping dash across the store to find that awesome deal. :)

I had the pleasure of meeting this sweet family yesterday... the girls absolutely cracked me up. They are total sweethearts and super fun! We were glad that the rain held off and the weather wasn't too bad! It was a fun session, M family! Enjoy your sneak peek!

a fun afternoon with my bff :)

We had absolutely beautiful weather this past weekend! It was a perfect weekend to photograph my friend's kids. I love these kids like my own, so we had a lot of fun during our session, and topped it off with Krispy Kreme donuts for a treat afterward (for the kids, of course ;). We've already ordered the one of the 3 of them together in a canvas gallery wrap for her, can't wait to see it!

This sneak peek is from my second session yesterday afternoon. I really couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day for photo sessions! The weather was just perfect. The H family looked great in their portrait outfits! I loved Little C's red dress... *almost* makes me wish I had a little girl! Almost. :)

the sweetest smile...

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Little Miss C and her mommy and daddy today. I have had the privilege of photographing this sweet family a couple of times now, and Little Miss C never disappoints! She was super smiley as always, and she stole my heart when she blew me kisses and came to me to pick her up. She had fun playing in the leaves with mommy and daddy! It was a beautiful fall day for a session!

I can't believe she's a year old! This gorgeous little girl has stolen the hearts of everyone in our family. My boys especially adore their little cousin, and she's pretty entertained by them, too. :) I love looking at her sweet face!
