Need Headshots?

I was out with Eric today photographing a home he recently listed for sale. He decided that he needed some new headshots for his marketing material, so we did that while we were there. I like to take a more modern approach to headshots... scrap the hokey backdrops, and come up with something a little more "lifestyle".

If you are in need of headshots for your profession, contact me for more details! And if you are in the market to buy or sell a home, contact Eric Munger with ERA Realty... you can reach him at eric.munger@era.com or through his website (soon to be sporting a new photo! :) at http://www.ericmunger.com. Here are a few shots from today...

My Three Sons

Any photographer will tell you that one of the biggest challenges in photography is photographing your own children (and if that's not a challenge for some, color me jealous). I have made the attempt a few times, only being successful once or twice. My fall session with my kids was a complete disaster. My 3 year old, who refuses to nap, fell asleep on the way to the location (and was, in turn, VERY grumpy upon realizing that he was supposed to actually look my direction without looking angry). The other two had apparently been cooped up way too long in our house, because as soon as we hit the outdoors, they ran in 2 different directions! It's tough to photograph your own kids, because you have the frustration of a photographer AND of a mom... the combination can be dangerous! :) SO... with that said, I was very happy that an impromptu offer to my kids of bribery in exchange for a photo session was met with their cooperation yesterday. I'm going to share a few of those photos... who knows if it will ever happen again!

Welcome To The World, Baby C

I was SO excited to photograph the precious baby girl of a friend today. I love photographing newborns, and Jenn and I had already chatted about getting together for photos right away. Baby C is just 4 days new, and such a wonderful Christmas gift for these loving parents! I packed up my studio and trekked to their home in Kernersville for this session. I was able to use natural light for most of the session, thanks to their sunroom! I was even able to snap a few photos of Big Brother K during C's feeding time! Thanks again Jenn and Brian, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek! And Baby C, it was so nice to finally meet you! :)

Little Miss "A"

This was definitely an entertaining session! Let me put it this way, "naked baby" shots are not nearly as easy as they look. By the way, Mike, did that come out of your shoes? :) Both Mom and Dad were great sports while learning how to baby wrangle their firstborn. Mike and Lindsey, I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby C

Baby C is such a precious little girl! Just spending a couple of hours with this little family was enough to see how much love these wonderful parents have for their baby girl! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby T

As some of you know, the swine flu put me out for a little while! I'm SO glad to be back, doing what I love to do! I am trying to reschedule all of the sessions I had to postpone while I was under the weather... I got to do 2 of them on Saturday!

Baby T just turned one year old! What a celebration for his mom and dad - they waited a long time for this little guy! He's such a sweetheart and was giving me a toothy grin from the moment we met! Here is your sneak peek - hope you enjoy it!
