The studio is finally finished, and I was so excited to shoot in it on Saturday morning! The weather was beautiful, so we went outside for a few at the end, too! I was happy to have these blue-eyed handsome boys to be the first to try out the new space. I think they liked it!

i got to spend a few hours with this sweet little guy on saturday. he fought sleep (and won :) and i gave him the nickname houdini (he earned it!). we got lots of awake photos, and his cousin, who was one of my baby planners, came by for some 2 year old photos. enjoy your sneak peek!

i really can't believe how much my baby plan babies change from their newborn session to their six month session. i am tempted to request visitation between sessions. :) this little guy was so handsome, and his big sister really adores him. check out their sneak peek!

I really can't believe it's been a year since I last photographed this sweet family. The girls are growing up, and big sister K has such a personality! Little H is just as sweet as can be, and boy, is she a mover! This was a super fun session!

I was so excited to finally arrange a day that worked with our schedules to photograph this sweet family. The weather turned out to be perfect... I think it was only in the 70s for our session! That's fantastic for the middle of July! Little Miss M kept us busy as we explored Old Salem today... she's really on the move!  Enjoy your sneak peek, H family!

I've been photographing this little beauty since she was just a tiny baby, and I swear she gets cuter every time I see her! I just adore her little curls! Already looking forward to next time, Miss C!

I was very excited to finally meet Baby C, the cute little guy who made L a big brother! He's 6 weeks old and a charmer already! They're the same age difference as my two older boys, and I can't wait to see these two form their brotherly bond! Congratulations on the new addition, S family!

when a client had to reschedule her friday session a few days ago, i posted on facebook to see if anyone was interested in scheduling a last minute session to fill in my empty spot. i was so excited when G's mom contacted me right away to set up a photo shoot! we had a ton of fun this afternoon, and we were super glad the weather held out for us!

I love my job. Can I just say that? I mean, really. I get to hang out with adorable little kids and meet super nice people! I thoroughly enjoyed my session on Saturday with these two sisters and their families... even if we did have to dodge a few weddings in the process. :)

I am always so happy to see my baby planners! This sweet guy is a year old now! I can't believe how fast the year has flown by. I enjoyed spending time with him on our session... as his mom says, he's a tough crowd, but look at how his face lights up when he sees her!

i can't believe how much they change in a few short months. little miss e had a personality all her own, and i'm so glad to say that it was a HAPPY one! she is, hands-down, the happiest baby i have ever photographed. i am still waiting on her mom and dad to change their minds about letting me keep her for a week or two... she is just TOO sweet! we shot for an hour and a half (mostly because i got carried away :) and she never cried a single time. it almost made me want another baby, but i know mine wouldn't be that sweet. mine would probably scream her head off day and night. so instead, i'll just stick with playing with everyone else's babies, then i can give them back if they ever do cry. i love my job. just sayin'.

I have had the pleasure of photographing these beautiful girls before, and I'm always excited to see them! They wore us out on Thursday afternoon, as they are both very much on the move! We had a great time, and they made lots of new friends while we were shooting. :) I mean, really... they're so cute! Who could resist a friendly hello from these two?
